We are delighted to confirm that you have been nominated to receive one of the top four Remi Awards in your competition category for your entry. Unlike other festivals, we nominate only the four top entries, and we present Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze awards, thus you are assured to win one of these top awards at the Gala Remi Awards Dinner! The great thing about WorldFest is that we only invite Remi Winners to the Grand Awards Gala, so you can bring clients, associates and friends knowing that you are assured of a win! (Unlike the Academy Awards, where the room starts filling up with losers!) The WorldFest Remi Award is an 11x14 metallic framed award plaque, or perhaps even a Special Jury Remi Plaque or Remi Grand Award Statuette. There is also the Kodak Crystal Vision Award for Cinematography (a $2,500 Kodak Raw Stock Grant) plus other awards. You may now use the Remi Award Winner logos that are featured on our website under WorldFest History and Past Winners! (This is not a notification of being screened at the festival. Most of our Remi Winners are not screened for the general public, just for the juries.
You are cordially invited to attend the 42nd WorldFest-Houston April 17-26 for the entire 10-day festival or, if your time is short, the final awards weekend, Friday, April 24th through Sunday April 26, to depart on Monday the 27th. You are our special VIP guest at no cost for the Grand Awards Dinner & Cocktail Reception on Saturday, the 25th. You may invite as many guests as you like to join you for the additional charge of $150 per person including the cocktail reception, open bar, gourmet dinner and wine. You may reserve up to one table for 6-10 if desired and there is no extra charge to reserve the table. Since seating is very limited, we must restrict everyone to just one reserved table. The Remi Awards Gala Dinner is at The Renaissance Hotel - Saturday, the 25th, Champagne Cocktail Reception ~ 7pm, & Awards Dinner ~ 8pm. Should you want to come in on Wednesday the 22nd, for the six seminars (Docs on a Dime, Hollywood Script Protocol, Publicity and PR for your Indie Film, Agents, Managers & Studios - an Overview, Distribution and Producing & Directing the Indie Film) held on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, we offer the VIP Platinum All Festival Pass to our award winners and their guests only -- at a very special discount price of just $200 per person! (Regular price to the public is $500). On Sunday April 26th, you can join us as our VIP guest for the Houston Yacht Club/WorldFest Regatta and a very special Bollywood Indian Luncheon Feast catered by Madras Pavilion Restaurant! (We will serve Barefoot Wine and Shiner Bock Draft) - Plus a special VIP tour of NASA and Space Center Houston! This is all included with both the Platinum Pass & Awards Dinner Pass. Your complimentary VIP Awards dinner pass does include the NASA/Space Center Houston tour, Regatta and Texas BBQ! The extra guest Remi Awards Dinner tickets do include the NASA Tour and the Galveston Bay Regatta! If you simply have to return Sunday night, you can make a flight after 9pm.
